Article marketing has evolved on the internet in response to the simultaneous development of search engine technologies. The old search engine tricks that once worked well simply no longer work. The indices have become immensely complex and rely on what is called Latent Semantic Indexing or LSI. Without getting too scientific, it basically involves a complex set of algorithms that emulate the thought processes of humans in the way they categorize information. The result is that quality content is what is most rewarded by the search engine indices. The black hat techniques of old will only get you banned.
